Welcome

From the Carolina Union Board of Directors

As students, the future of the Carolina Union is in our hands. It will be up to us to decide how we want to shape the future of this building. It is our Union, our choice.

For many Tar Heels, the Carolina Union is home. This home has been here since 1969–approaching its 50-year anniversary. Our existing facilities are aging and growing unsuited to support the needs of our increasingly diverse campus. In striving to remain an integral part of student life, we’ve completed a feasibility study to help us better understand these needs and establish immediate and long-term solutions.

Remember last Fall when we asked you for your #UNCUnionIdeas? Well, we’ve taken all your great feedback and are now ready to look at the future of #OurCarolinaUnion. Hear what Tar Heels had to say, and see the recommended plan proposed to us by our team of industry experts.
